The UW Badger Poll - Spring 2010

Looking for a way to measure public opinion or evaluate your organization by hearing from households across Wisconsin? The UW Badger Poll offers an invaluable way for researchers and organizations to monitor public opinion, measure public awareness, and identify Wisconsinites' priorities.

The UW Badger Poll is:

  • A statewide random-digit-dial (RDD) telephone survey of approximately 500 Wisconsin adults
  • An omnibus survey made up of multiple sets of questions purchased by different investigators for their research purposes
  • A cost-effective and efficient way of gathering valid and reliable data in a timely manner
  • Conducted by the University of Wisconsin Survey Center (UWSC) using the state-of-the art survey methods and techniques

The next UW Badger Poll will be conducted in Spring 2010

Cost for questions are based on the total length of time they take to administer. The current charge is $1,500 per minute worth of questions - typically with 3 to 4 questions per minute. In addition to the results from your questions you will also receive all public use data, including demographic results, such as age, gender, race/ethnicity, zip code, presence of children in the household, and so on. Your questions and the resulting data are kept confidential, the UWSC will not share them with other clients.

If you would like help developing and organizing your questions we can help you achieve your research goals.

  • Question Deadline - Early April 2010
  • Pre-Testing - Early May 2010
